This one is from NA's January 2014 client, which is what we have now in Europe. The other one I linked before was from NA's latest version, and they are a few months ahead of us so their current pak had some issues with the older 4.5 client (bugs in NPC windows and others).

Here's a new NA data.pak for European 4.5 Aion with a few fixes:

The current data.pak from NA's April 2014 client had several issues for the EU client, like displaced buttons on NPC windows and other stuff (their client is a newer version than EU)
The Jan 2014 data.pak which works for EU client does not have those issues, but it does have many errors in the items DB, like this:

Modor's Staff and Cane both say "Staff", so at first it's not clear which one is the chanter or cleric version. Other errors I found were in Idians, like Magical Attack and Magical Defense Golden Idian both saying "Magical Attack":

so I took the items database from the April's NA pak and put it in the working Jan. one, to get both the correct UI windows and items database mixed into a new pak:

ARM 1.97:


  • Simplified settings window

  • Added an option "Disable in-game shop" for EU Aion

  • Expanded class and servers dropdown boxes

  • Changed some details of the Aion launch commandline for better compliance with launcher



 

There have been some issues with the data.pak causing the Aion client to crash often, specially with 64-bit. I hope this is now fixed with the new pak, I've been running the 64-bit client again throughout the day with no crashes.

Data.pak combines the following:


  • EU 4.5 base files

  • EU Server list, User Agreement and Anouncement box

  • EU web shop link (clicking shop icon will browse to EU shop)

  • EU warning/ban messages and web links

  • NA 4.5 UI files (way better designed than EU)

  • NA "4.6" items database

While GF staff have been banning users for very long for "insults", "telling lies about Gameforge" etc, their own staff break their own rules every other day. Look i.e here, users have been banned in the past for saying NC had higher droprates than GF, "spreading lies about Gameforge", and here their own mods are saying the very same thing, will they get self-banned? :D

So our joke of a publisher added some items to the shop, let's see:

Ok so, it's a 3-rows cabinet in the " " category.

So we have a cabinet we don't even know if it shares the space of other 3-row furniture because they are too incompetent to even properly translate and manage their own shop.
Ask in the forum? topic locked/removed and an answer from the staff like "we don't know, we have to ask the shop people".

Youtube unblocked the video after reporting the false ownership claims by Gameforge.

Gameforge appears to be abusing their publishing license and made a false claim of copyright to Youtube to get the video blocked. My friend is getting it uploaded elsewhere and has also contacted YT to contest the fake claims. Will update soon with new link and the progress of this story. (Gameforge don't own the game in any way, only NCSoft (Korea) does).

If you follow my website, you will know Gameforge recently made ilegal false claims of property against a user video who was showing how they banned some players without reason, and so the video was blocked for everyone. I advised my friend to contest the fake claim by GF and they just now unblocked it after reviewing the case, so the video is now up for all to see again:

I've uploaded a new installer to fix the issues caused by the last update. Somehow 64-bit OpenSSL DLLs ended up in the setup instead of 32-bit (ARM is 32-bit, need the same type of dlls), and that was causing the issue for many people.

Fix: simply download arm again from here and install over.
