For what reason, to annoy people? It will NOT remove the character from the server if in combat or similar circumstance, so there’s no need to delay, the Aion server itself already takes care of this to prevent force loggers.
The only way to truly force log is much more of a hack than just stopping the process.
Well, one day to “abuse” this is if you are running from someone with enough distance to not get hit but far from anywhere safe, if you forcelog your char keeps running until dc.

what is the idea of .kill command, fast close of client? then a delay is impractical. I suspect some wanna explode .kill to close others aion clients, so maybe should not come back.

For me it was just being able to close the client in many cases where I can’t normally, either cause login times out and controls don’t respond, or client freezes completely with some crash error but won’t close, and I was forced to ctrl alt del and close it from task manager, this is a lot more handy. You can do the same from ARM menu anyway, Tools/Close.
