If you just started playing on GF servers, I suggest you give US NC a try instead if your ping there isn’t too high, the future for this game in Europe looks pretty bad.

Apparently you can have someone’s game account banned with Gameforge, simply make a forum account under a similar name to someone else’s and pretend to be them. Shortly after you’ll receive a forum account ban, both on your account and the person you impersonate, along with a threat to close also the victim’s in-game account. Go try!

Feels as if GF are staffing 10 year old kids.

This European publisher we were forced into keeps reaching new lows of how bad they manage the company and the staff they choose to run it.

A few days ago someone was banned in Telemachus, simply for gliding the fear inside 1-1 arena. The sm in question was a member of the legion UnderG, well known for having a GM playing with them, so either that sm was the GM, or he told their GM right away, seeing as the other player got banned before the arena was even over, he got force dc’ed mid arena and next login attempt he was already banned.

Upon contacting support they were reticent at first: the support guy said he was unsure about gliding to avoid fear was an exploit but that he would trust the other GMs who did the ban. Upon further moving things around and talking to the CM, he got unbanned, as the issue gained some awareness.

So be aware, legion UnderG in Telemachus has a GM playing with them who’s abusing his power, keep this in mind whenever you see a member around.

Got my forum account banned for 3 days again :D (Gameforge)

That’s the sad state of the European version of Aion, where simply contradicting your opinion about drop rates against some mod gets you banned, they think really highly about themselves.

The worst offenders would be Lord_Fren and Seven, there must be something very wrong in their head. Either that or they are explicitly told to lie and ban users who expose the truths about the greedy business model they forcibly imposed on the userbase GF purchased.

Seems Gameforge has finally gone completely crazy and unbanned all long time hackers who had been banned even months ago, including extremelly clear cases with plenty of videos glidehacking and players with Padma weapons before the boss was even killed once.

Only thing you can do is spam the support with every hacker sending them the reports (preferably paste it in pastebin as it can be very large and the ticket form won’t fit it), every single time, maybe eventually they decide to do something about it.

I’m uploading a new build tomorrow with support for some more of the 3.0 skills. It’s going slow since I play in Europe, where we are still stuck with 2.7

We are probably getting 3.0 in September/October with some luck. Gameforge still refuses to publish the update until they have all useless languages translated and dubbed, even though the English one was ready months ago.

I guess GF bosses are probably nationalistic xenophobes who can’t speak a word of English, so they don’t really care. Wish some other company would take over the English servers.

A lot more script cheaters seem to be getting banned last couple weeks, thanks to reports from the warnings given by the meter and other sources. Gameforge seems to be finally taking this very seriously. So get your fraps ready when arm gives you a hacker warning and report, one by one they will all fall :) The warnings were quite controversial at first and obviously most of the hackers complained and tried to defend themselves saying it was bs etc, but now we are being proved right ^^
